In 1995, the Antonian Charitable Society launched the Mar Anton Nursery, comprising both a daycare and a kindergarten, with a capacity for 20 children. Staffed by dedicated nuns and trained caregivers specialized in childcare, the nursery provided essential support for the children’s well-being and development. By 2005, with the external construction of the building completed through aid from Catholic Relief Services and funding from the United States Agency for International Development, the society relocated the nursery to the ground floor, expanding its capacity to accommodate 40 children under the supervision of four caregivers.
Since its inception, the Antonian Charitable Society has remained committed to its mission of providing tangible and financial aid to families in need and those with limited incomes. This unwavering dedication to social welfare continues to define the society’s efforts, making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families within the community.
